Musicals, oh musicals. You learn to love them, you really do. Especially their song lyrics. heart lol For those of you who have never seen a musical and have no idea what I'm talking about, this is what I mean: Musical's are known to follow the main character's life, and his/her life has periodic moments when he/she and fellow characters break out into song, and somehow, they all know the dance moves and everything. Yes? 3nodding Mmmmhmmm. Well, if a person should break out into song every few seconds of their lives, not alll of them would mean anything. For example, let's say this guy named Billy wants to ask out this girl named Bobbi but Bobbi isn't interested. Scene:
BILLY: Bobbi, will you go out with me?
BOBBI: sad No.
BILLY: NO!!!!! gonk
(Bobbi leaves)
BILLY talking to friends: SHE SAID NO!!! (breaks into song): Why oh why oh why oh why? Did she have to blahblahblahblah (You get the point)
Ok maybe getting rejected deserves a song, but instead of moping there he could have pushed a little harder to ask, or tried to charm her with a gift, or something. To wrap this all up, let me just say that i absolutely heart musicals, and I understand that that's the way they are, but whoever came up with them is probably a person who appreciates music in their daily lives. Really appreciates it. wink
