Heres a list of anime I feel that people should watch if your looking for something less main stream. Enjoy!
1.Gantz: Read the manga. The anime is ok too, but the manga is were its at! A bit violent though. (me) BLOOD! WEEEE! jk Great fighting scenes.
2. One Piece: SUBBED VERSION!!!!!!!!!! I feel so bad that you have only seen the dubbed version! This is easily my second favorite anime, POSSIBLY even my favorite. YOU NEED TO SEE IT SUBBED!!!!!!!!! The voices are all 100% I dare you not to laugh when Zoro walks in the wrong direction! PLEASE WATCH IT SUBBED!!! PLEASE!!!!
3.Yu Yu Hakusho: The cult anime classic. This was honestly one of the best anime from the 90's. Its awesome to say the least. Probably the best dub of any anime I have ever heard. Watch this and you will not be disappointed.
4.Beck: One of my favorite slice of life anime besides Honey and Clover. If your a music lover (like I am) this a must. It may start off kinda weird(Being that the first episode takes place later in the actually series......don't ask just watch) This is a cool show because there are people who speak Japanese and English in many episodes, So its a treat for a native English speakers to watch.
5.Zombie Loan: A very short (14 episode) long anime. I cant honestly say why I really like this show, more than likely its the main character being a complete klutz. Plus....a zombie who uses a katana!! How could you go wrong????
6.Hitman Reborn: I really have to give this show some credit. When it first came out I was thinking, "What is this? Another Bleach clone? Whats with the lame baby?" But I was dead wrong! Its actually an interesting and fairly funny show. I will say this though, its very slow starting, not really picking plot wise until episode 20. So heres What I recommend, watch the first five episodes to develop characters, then skip to episode 20. That should get you going. Go see it! PS. REBORN!
7.Kimi ga Nozomu Eien: Ok I have a secret when it comes to this anime. I am almost a legal adult(17 1/2) and I cry when I watch this anime. ITS SO SAD!!! Its the greatest sappy love story anime you will ever see! And I love it!!! Its got, coma's, love triangles, and a deep moral when it comes down to it. This is a must for love story enthuseists! Which I am sadly..... rofl heart heart
8.Zatch/Gash Bell: With the subbed version finally being finished,(AFTER 2 1/2 LONG YEARS AFTER SEASON 2!!!) theres never been a better time to go see this one. It has a One Piece kinda feel to it. Its the kinda show you wanna watch after seeing Kimi ga Nozomu Eien. Its lighthearted and silly, but actually has a lot of good action.
