Okay so I am at the beach right now reading a bunch of manga online.

As I am sitting there on the couch my mom walks in holding one of my vampire romance novels by my favorite romance author Katie MacAlister. The first words that leave her mouth, "Does she write about pagans and Wiccans?" I nodded at her and she tosses the book on the table in disgust.

Now let me explain. I have been trying to get my mom to read these books long before I became Wiccan, mostly because they are funny and rather cute at times.

So I walked back in to the room holding a different book. This one is about dragons. I told her that she should at least try to read that one, because it was the most humorous and it is the reason I want to get a Newfoundland and name it Jim.

I have yet to hear feedback on it yet, but I am still holding out that she will gather some little bit of understanding about my choices and become as obsessed with Katie Mac books as much as I am, mostly so she will buy them for me as they come out with out me having to beg every time I see a new one.
