Gake No Ue No Ponyo (Ponyo On The Cliff By The Sea) is a good film. But I refuse to watch it in English.
There's a good reason for that. Well, two good reasons.
Reason #1. When viewing a Hayao Miyazaki film, you should watch in the way it was meant to be watched.
Reason #2. The film stars Noah Cyrus, and Frankie Jonas. Ew, they're related to Miley Cyrus and The Jonas Brothers. They'll give me ear-syphilis if they talk.
So I think I'm gonna stick with the Japanese original.
Just like I did with Kiki's Delivery Service.
...Actually, I enjoyed that movie in English as well as in Japanese.
Phil Hartman's performance was great as Jiji in that film. Too bad it had to be released posthumously. *Sigh*
