There was this adorable little boy at my camp, Preston, 7 or 8, who would hug everybody, and i am not joking. My friend was walking up to Archery, and, when she got there, Preston goes up to her, gives her a hug, and during the hug, tilts his head up and says, "What's your name?" Could I make this up?
He was on my team for team games day, and someone pointed him out to me, a fellow member of the LemonBurgingtonChesterFieldshire (aka yellow) team, and so I go over, and ask for a hug. I immediately recieved one.
On Departure day (I stayed for a month, whereas around 140-150 others only stayed for 2 weeks. I was one of 28 who stayed for a month, so I was in both of the Departure lines), Preston went up the line not once, but THREE times, and hugged about 170 people, the ones who formed the aisle for people to walk through three times each.
While in the line, I overheard 2 counselors talking about him. One said, "Preston says he's a superhero, and his super power is hugs."
idea What if we all had a superhero like that? A superhero to express love, I mean. Whether it would be hugging, high-fives, hand-shake hugs, hugs, chest bumps, smiles, etc. Wouldn't that be great? idea
