When Philli asked who would speak for Rose and Kyrre the first to answer, Dragon stepped forward. Bowing, she said, "I shall. I stand as the Princess' Guardian, and have helped raise her from cub-hood."
Standing next to Kyrre after the introduction, Dragon sat attentively. When Kyrre looked to her for support on Rose's mother, Dragon said, "The Lady Lilah was part fairy and part angel."
Dragon watched as a ripple of reactions swept through the crowd of Kitsunes. Many were obviously pleased that Rose had a double enlightened heritage through her mother to offset the demon in her from her father. However, just as many were upset to learn that Rose was only a quarter kitsune.
Gently clasping her hands in front of her, Dragon said, "Sai members of the Council and sai audience. I realize that Princess Rose's heritage may not be the most desirable--but is it right to condemn her for something she could not help? Surely not."
(( I had this epic speech all figured out....and I forgot it so now I have the lame version DX that may or may not get Rose and Dragon into MORE trouble DDXX ))
