Light is a typical fourteen year-old boy,but it's always the normal ones,right? Behind his sweet and childish personality,a dark and evil soul is running restless within him,just waiting to come out.The problem is,it seems; that his less-than-kindly half has already found a way out.
He is of average build,not muscular and leaning towards being slim.He's also rather short,standing at only 4''10.Light's eyes are a common blue,but their hue is noticeably darker than most.They're round and the classic chesnut-shape,but the corners of his eyes turn up a little because of his mother's Philippine descent.He has dark brown hair that reaches down to the nape of his neck and to his eyelids,which is almost never messy due to his clean-freak nature.
As described,Light is a childish and sweet boy,but he can be serious and even mature at times.To add to it,he gets annoyed easily,although he's patient.He acts dumb at times,mostly to people he's not familiar with,yet he is actually rather intelligent.He's also fiercely protective and loyal,and uses his wits instead of brawn to get back at his enemies,or simply people who annoy him.Another thing that only his close friends know is that Light is only interested in the same sex,and can become a bit of an idiot when he finds someone he's truly interested in.But this rarely ever happens,as Light has very high standards,despite his age.Light is also very easy-going,to the point of being too carefree.He hates work,too.

Ghilt is Light's 'other' self,although he is actually a wandering ghost who latched onto Light after he 'sensed' Light's desires for revenge on his father,who left him in his mother's care when he was young,and from the hate he feels for his mother,who has turned to drugs and alcohol since he left.Apparently,he died after he was executed in his home country,Ireland,for taking part in thirty-seven murders with three other accomplices,all of which occured in a span on two months.He comes out only on Fridays that fall on the 13th,and the end of each month,leaving Light's body and materializing; then proceeds to cause havoc and disarray in Light's life.
Ghilt towers over Light at 5 feet and six inches,and often ridicules Light for this.He has crimson eyes with no pupils,and short,black messy hair.Ghilt is also noticeably more muscular than Light,but is not 'buff'; he just has more meat on his bones.His skin is close to pale.He has a set of horns on his head,and a pair of small wings that can expand or disappear into his back at will.He also has a devil's tail,which sadly,cannot disappear into his behind.Despite his Irish descent,there is no trace of an accent in Ghilt's speech,probably due to his four hundred year long residence in a castle in England.
Needless to say he is the complete opposite of Light: unreadable,secretive and brutal.Ghilt is cold and calculating,a dangerous combination.He can be treacherous,switching sides whenever convenient.Ghilt,despite his name,never feels repentant for any evil he's done,and instead feels a sense of accomplishment with every malicious task he completes.At times though,he becomes very protective of Light,like whenever he falls ill or is badly injured.He loves the feeling of being overworked,and is very uptight; although he's known to reveal a rare and rather piquant humor once in a blue moon,often with the intention of annoying Light or making him blush,which amuses Ghilt to no end.
POSE IDEAS: Light is the uke in this complex relationship,meaning he's on the receiving end,while Ghilt is the seme or dominant partner.Maybe you could draw them with Ghilt reading a book,as he usually does,and Light hanging over his shoulder and pestering him.Or maybe,the classic bed pose; with Light lying on the bed looking defiant(yet blushing),and Ghilt pinning his wrists to the bed and smirking;all the while being on top of him.Well,any poses are loved,really,as long as its shonen-ai/yaoi. heart
