heart Pulling petals off a flower,
heart The darkness closes in this late hour.
heart I sit at my desk like a little girl,
heart Plucking these petals, watch them unfurl.
heart I have no photos to stare at,
heart Nothing to dwell on at view.
heart But in my minds eye I see his smile,
heart A smile never to be washed askew.
heart I think of it all night and day.
heart But never have the courage to say,
heart That I think of him all the time.
heart Stuck in a poem.
heart Stuck in a ryme.
heart I could never tell him out loud,
heart Feelings I have felt and plowed.
heart Plowed them away.
heart Trying to forget.
heart But I cannot forget what shall always linger.
heart A smile wide touches my finger,
heart Kissed the cut I got when I fell,
heart And saying soon all will be well.
heart I play his smile over and over.
heart Wishing this flower had the luck of a 4-leaf clover.
heart Wishing he...knew.
