gil is a noah
he is the new tryde
he was on a mission for the earl and didn't know addie had joined the noah rank.
he knew ada was a noah but he didn't want to hurt her or see her upset again so he never revealed himself to her. he concealed his identity around her by wearing a mask.
he comes back as addie is dying/dead and jacob is sobbing on the ground holding her. he sees ada take her own life (by someone elses hand) and runs to her side. he doesn't know addie is the girl on the floor until ada says her sying words to him, knowing now that he is gil.
gil will attack and kill the exorcist(s) who killed ada and addie
he will be like a father to the new ada and addie reborn
