Work was interesting today... very slow.. BUT very interesting and fun.
At work tonight, we got bored since it was really bloody slow and our NHL team was playing so we were on the hunt for our Radio. One of the new supervisors has a God complex *funny since shes a bible thumper* and thinks the radio is unsanitary to have int he kitchen, though our Boss bought it for us , figure that one out? confused
As we're looking, our grill cook stumbles upon a box full of Strawberry jam, the kind that coem in the little packages... like at resturants.. or Denny's. So we take off the lid and grab aa few. HIm and one of the girls desides " hey, lets go make some toast!" So they set off and start making toast.
I'm on Drive Thru, and am busy with a few orders when I walk past them and ask what the hell they're eatting. They reply simply, Strawberry jam on toast, want some? SO of course I say sure and they toast me up some and I put a package and a little less then half on.
After eatting a bunch of toast our supervisor asks what are we up to, we tell her and she laughs saying we haven't served breakfast at DQ in a really long time. SO he pause and wonder, how old is this jam? So we run over and check when the jam was shipped to us.
It was Shipped in Jan 2004... exactly two years old is this jam xp that we ate. We all then wonder if we're all going to get sick... but then our worry vanishes as our Radio is found and we start listening to the end of the game ^_^
