Gods that Raiden works with. And the powers they usually donate:
Karura, Major Goddess of Birds
(Wise and helpful, Mistress Karura often gives Raiden her advice on matters. She advised him to seek out the Ashura's Soul item)
Summon Power: Mistress Karura's Will- Blade/summoning instrument is surrounded by swirling winds which add destruction to attacks.
Karura's Sprite Form:
Ryu, Major God of Water
(Hot headed for a water god, but always eager to help in a fight. Known for keeping and taming dragons. His water attacks often take the form of a dragon)
Summon Power: Water Dragon Strike. A powerful water strike that assumes the form a dragon.
Yasha, Major God of Earth
(Says very little, is very calculating and clever)
Summon Power: Stone Bind. Stones levitate and drift around the foe, distracting them and preventing them from moving swiftly.
Ashura, Major God of Fire and War
(Ashura is very fearsome, but not cruel. He refuses to aid the weak, and any who wish to call upon his power as a summoner must first journey to Mount Ashura, his volcano and personal shrine. There Ashura judges summoners to see if they are worthy of him. People usually refer to Ashura as "him" but Ashura is in fact genderless.)
Summon Power (Which standard summoners obtain): Ashura's Flame. The summoner can control a magical and very destructive fire. It is Ashura's own flame, so it may be manipulated in many interesting ways in battle. Special Summon Power (which Raiden attained): Ashura's Form. Only summoners whom Ashura holds in high regard (which is to say, very few) can use this power. It allows the summoner to take the form of Lord Ashura, and weild his flame with even greater skill. The summoner will also be entirely immune to fire while in this state. Their physical strength and stamina will also be boosted through the roof.
Treasure (which Raiden attained): Soul of Ashura. This artifact was created by Lord Ashura in the days that he walked Gaia. It is a reddish orange stone which glows like fire and rests in a silver setting. It can transform at the whim of the user into armor, or a great blade. This treasure was left by Ashura in his shrine, waiting for one who was worthy to weild it. It is now in Raiden's posession, and the blade is Raiden's new summoning instrument.
Ashura's Sprite form:
Aqua and Marie, Water Sprite Sisters
(Aqua ((the greenish one)) and Marie ((The blue one)) are a pair of water sprites who live in a clear river which runs down Mt. Ashura. These siblings are very playful and enjoy taunting anyone who trespasses on their master's (Ashura's) territory. Marie is clearly the leader of the two, while Aqua tends to get distracted, or make comments without thinking them through first.)
Summon Ability: Healing Waters. Droplets of water rain down and heal the minor wounds of all allies.
The sisters' combined form "Aquamarie":
Souma, A Goddess of Stealth
((Souma used to specialize in stealthy tactics, but as technology has advanced, so has she. Souma uses a blend of stealth training, magic, and technology to become the invisible eyes and ears of whomever requires her services. She long ago exchanged more traditional assassin weapons for an electrified spear.))
Summon Ability: Unseen Current. The summoner is granted temporary invisibility. If the summoner is touched, or if they touch somebody while in this state, the subject that is touched will recieve a painful electric shock. This ability should be used with caution, because even if an ally touches the summoner while invisible, they will be shocked.
Kendappa, The Beautiful Deception, A Goddess of Wolves
((Kendappa is sweet, but always gets what she wants, and she will use violence to get it. Those who doublecross her are difficult to find, as they are seldom seen again. Kendappa is fearsome, and is often avoided by other gods because of her deceitful nature. She is beautiful, and very deadly.))
Summon Power: Hounds of Kendappa. The summoner may call two of Kendappa's loyal wolves to their aid. However, the summoner must make an offering of blood to summon them. The wolves have many interesting abilities, but will first attack the summoner when called into battle. This show of force is a reminder that they are only truley loyal to their goddess.
Kujaku, The Wayward Demon
((Kujaku is on nobody's side but his own. He only seems to show up when a situation is interesting to him. Kujaku loves to gather information, though what he does with that information is unknown. Most are distrustful of Kujaku, though he never does anything to cause trouble, he's never much help either.))
Summon Power: Unknown. He's yet to help Raiden. Few summoners know what Kujaku is capable of, because he's rarely interested enough in a situation to actually do anything.
Pelo the Propulsion
((Pelo is a God of Propulsion. Need a lift? Pelo is your guy. He's pretty young though, and inexperienced for a god. When he grants someone the power to fly...it's often in unexpected ways. He'll give you propulsion power, sure...but it might come in the form of a massive cow with bat wings...or a bright pink hovering inner tube. The methods of flight he grants are usually pretty unstable and difficult to control. Summoners often have him cast propulsion power on their enemies to temporarily disorient them))
Summon Power: Propel Get!! Target is granted flight....power?
Chrona of the Hourglass, A Time Goddess
((Chrona is a young but firey goddess of time. She is known for her quick temper. She's a very kind deity though, and is generally helpful to others. For a time, she and Raiden were in love, despite the anger this brought out in other gods. Though Chrona won't let Raiden forget the fact that he trampled on her heart (though it was a mutual breakup), Chrona is still willing to be summoned and help out.))
Summon Ability: Stop Time. For a breif moment, time ceases for all but the summoner and one other person of the summoner's choosing. This may give the summoner an opportunity to speak in private with someone in the midst of a feirce battle, or it may prove to be the opening needed in a desperate fight.
Webweaver, A Spider God
((Hates Raiden. Hates anybody who's ever done something he didn't like, and Webweaver never forgives for any reason. He holds grudges for stupid reasons and occasionally legitimate ones. This rage fuels him, and makes him a fearsome berserker. He once attempted to steal Chrona away from Raiden by capturing her heart...literally))
Summon Ability: Spider's Grudge. The summoner gains the ability to cast "Berserker" on an ally or foe. This will push the subject to the extremes of rage, making them incredibly strong, but very vulnerable to attacks. So far, Webweaver refuses to be summoned by Raiden for any reason.
Heartstring, Deity of Matters of the Heart
((Heartstring oversees matters of the heart. While mortal beings decide such matters on their own, Heartstring observes, and is aware of all of these relationships. He is often summoned for weddings to perform blessings for young couples. He is rarely summoned into battle, and his magic is of a non-violent variety))
Summon Ability: Charm. Heartstring can manipulate another being's emotions momentarily, to keep them from attacking. This does not always work, but is very effective against monsters and beasts.
Advent, a Golem
(Advent is a Steel Golem. Advent never speaks, and lives in solitude in the coldest regions of Gaia)
Summon Power: Golem Armor. Raiden can summon a giant armor that is the very image of Advent himself. It's huge, and Raiden stands in the head portion, controlling the armor with his will. This allows Raiden to perform additional summonings, to add "Support" summons to the Golem.
Marche, The Knightly Blade
((Marche has a firey personality that's hard to control. He's a sword demon, and he'll throw himself in front of practically anything in his desire to protect the innocent and the weak. He tends to overreact, and often offers to fight people over minor arguments.))
Summon Power: Marche Blade. Raiden can summon Marche's weapon of choice into the hands of his Golem armor. The blade is a perfect weapon to compliment the giant armor.
Flor, The Whimsical Dryad
((Flor is a very sweet dryad who is much loved by animals and magical creatures. She has a very kind and peaceful temperment. Her only flaw is that she can be a little too trusting and naieve at times.))
Summon Power: Green Whip. Raiden can summon a very powerful whip, which contains dryad magic. It can easily peirce the ground, and attack from under the opponent's feet. It is a useful weapon that can be weilded creatively.
Veeb, A Shield Spirit
(Veeb is a spirit, born out of the sheild of an ancient warrior. Whatever sheild he decides to posess becomes the most powerful on Gaia. He never says anything, because in his spirit form, Veeb decided that a head was un-nessicary)
Summon Power: Veeb's Sheild. This does not grant the summoner the most powerful sheild on Gaia. But it does grant them a sheild designed by Veeb himself. As such, it is a very useful tool in battle, and has saved many a warrior from a close call. Raiden uses the sheild to support the Advent Golem.
Sand Elemental Summon, Maia
Ice Elemental Summon, Isdottir
Sweets Elemental Summon, Gateau
