If you were to die today, where would you go?
What did you do to know who you know?
Did you treat them all kindly, as you want for yourself?
Or did you show them no mercy, compassion, or help?
Did you do things you wanted, both great and small?
Or were you so scared, you did nothing at all?
Was your life full of smiles, laughter, and cheer?
Was it like Hell, full of anger and fear?
Did you believe in yourself and always try your best?
Were you discouraged and settled for less?
Did you give thanks for your blessings you were gifted each day?
Were envious and bitter when things weren't your way?
Did you love abundantly with a heart full of warmth?
Did you live for yourself, alone and forlorn?
I'll tell you something I know for a fact.
We will all die and that is that.
I've just this last stanza to tell to you.
You only live once, so make it worth two.
