So, Sunshine's back in Florida (the flaccid, ill-smelling p***s of America) More or less, this means that I'm absolutely bored shitless. I only got two classes this semester (jesus, why do I ******** bother?) so I literally have NOTHING to do for many hours of the day. stare *mreows sadly* sad
So, I beat Half-Life 2. Good game, but it really needed, ya konw, an ending that didn't feel like blue balls. And, like, 5 minutes of exposition. Five minutes! I have no idea who the ******** the Combine is. Or what the hell that Administrator guy was trying to do, other then stop me. No more Ghost in the Shell for Valve!
There seems to be a pattern of s**t endings in games these days, especially in sequals. Halo 2's sucked. Half Life 2's sucked. Goddamn.
I managed to play Call of Duty's multi player for the first time. This was long touted as the main reason to get the game. Single player was fun and all, but I was really hoping that Multi would seal it for me. ******** me, what a let down. Theres only, maybe 100 servers total? Game play is total s**t. I'm glad to see that bunny-hopping with a full-auto smg hasn't gone out of style. Yeah, good times, guys. rolleyes What the hell's the point of having bolt-action rifles in a multiplayer clearly designed for medium to close combat? Fail.
I played Counter Strike: Source, as well. I got my a** handed to me, but I'm fairly confident that it was due to cheaters and my own rookieness, as opposed to s**t design. I could probably get pretty decent at it, should I chose too. It has a far better look to it then the original version, but also lacks decent servers. Probably because whiney little pricks who can't stand that all their skillz and knowledge from the original version/maps mean exactly d**k.
I need to get back on my work out routine. xp I have these pretty new running shoes that need to be used. My weights are pretty nice. ^_^ and cheap, comparatively, definatly better then a whatever-a-month gym membership. Granted, I only get a fraction of the possibilities, but s'all good.
Work still sucks. Wah.
