For my Friend alex i miss her
(I read this at her funeral)
God takes the hurt,
And he takes the pain.
He brings us together.
To keep us sane.
Though we lost
an amazing friend
it will all work out.
Our hearts will mend.
We loved her.
In our hearts she will stay.
Still I will cry.
Day after day.
Her parents are hurt.
that i don't need to say,
Its pretty obvisous,
For them we should pray.
The friends she had.
Were truely great.
We took up for her.
Just to clean the slate.
I guess the truth is,
That she is gone.
there is nothing to do,
But to move on.
Do not forget her,
or her amazing smile.
Just remember
She's gone for a while.
Not forever,
just for now.
We certainly won't forget her
not ever and not now.
