The crab is well grounded but can only mange on ground. The fish may be able to swim wherever there is water but sometimes the currents may take him places he didn't mean to go. Hand in hand the fish and crab fight the obstacles their watery world gives them but sometimes their worst enemy is each other because they can never see what the other sees. Some disadvantages may be his advantage and vice versa but the story will always go that they may never switch roles. In the end if they were to lose one another no matter how bad the fish wished to see the crab he'd be lost in the currents with no trail to follow; even if the crab crossed miles and miles of land under water he'd never be able to search the vast amounts of sea for their meeting was a moment in time that was 1 in a million. Their views were so opposite to begin.

edit:So all along the fish and crab were never in the ocean to begin with. They were merely in tanks that sit side by side. All this time they thought their world was already big enough. Maybe they both believed because the feelings were mutual...
