October 2009 MCs: Will o the whisp and golden fleece [announcement]
The Will-o-the-Wisp's ghostly glow manifests as a variety of cool accessories: a cloak, a spectral hairstyle, floating orbs and more.
The Golden Fleece, famously quested for by the Argonauts of antiquity, gives you a fluffy golden hood, scarf and leggings, plus a pair of golden ram's horns.
A gold MC and an angelic blue MC. Glorious. @ 3@ <3 And they're relatively solid colors. No stray weird hot pink or lime green dots to deal with. That makes these items easier to add into outfits. One gives a pair of gold leg warmers, the other has a wig. Two very good selling points. Not to mention ram horns and a ghostly "tail." Even bigger selling point.
The only downsides are lack of poses and bulk. I'm glad that the MCs have been on a better roll lately, but they also have less poses than we had been getting for our 250c. And these items are hard to work with. It's easy to make outfits around these items, but it's not easy to add these items to any outfit. They're so big. x ...x; MCs remain popular when they can be added to all sorts of outfits easily... usually this means the poses are rather small... These MCs should retain popularity due to their color schemes.
Overall, rock on artists. EIR 10/16/09 According to tektek; bad moon, nightmare, reve rouille, hidden ace, case of pietro, catastrophe and lyndexer's journal were all up for evolution today.
Only seracila pendant and titan's legacy were left out. XD Titan is always left out, while that pendant hasn't had its first evo yet.

Reve, Bad Moon, Hidden Ace and Nightmare evolved this week. O: Four! Yes. >}
Reve. The mademoiselle and cavalier dates are back in again. xD We now have red eyes, a knife, a broken heart.... Now I'm thinking it's just the tail of a toy maker and cavalier. The cavalier broke the lady's heart. But there's a running metaphor of a pearl diver (toy maker) who gets her heart ripped out by a shark (cavalier). Okay, well that was better phrased in my head. XD; Anyway, while I used to think that the toy maker was also a diver, now I just think it's just a representation of her.
Bad Moon gave a whole assortment of long haired and short haired wigs and eyes. Wow. Did not expect that one at all. And here I really thought it wouldn't be worth the 749c.
XD The hidden ace got a cute pair of over sized gloves... and some helpers? So the magician isn't magic, he's got little card helpers. <.< >.> The clubs have been forgotten again (no club wigs things), although there is a club helper fairy thing. Yes, those are technical terms.
Nightmare this week was done by the maker of the anima and alruna's rose. This week really looks like things that'd come out of a nightmare... lady of innards? XD Ew. The green hat is sooo going to be sought after by Link cosplayers. The Nightmare may just remain popular for that reason. xD Okay, well there are other reasons for it to be popular too. XD If I see a commercial for Gaia on the TV... that'd just be sad. It can go on right after all those commercials for the various dating sites. 150,000 FB Fans... almost [announcement]
The other day Gaia had something like 96-99k fans, right now it has almost 114k fans. At 150k fans, all of the fans will get a commemorative item. Sneaky Gaia. I cared little about the link to FB until a free item was waved in my face. PSP Giveaway Announced today, the PSP giveaway is back in the DC. [announcement]
The announcement came chock full of legal jargon. XD <3 The contest has been opened up to Canada sans Quebec. Looks like Gaia is making progress with extending these giveaways to other countries besides the US. I'm assuming all that legal junk in the announcement is Canada's fault. ;D BOO and SIN Over the past couple days, users have been receiving PMs from SIN, BOO or both. A battle is coming and they want you to join their side.
I've still yet to get a PM. <.<; ...Not that I'd join anything... yet... before the battle breaks out. xD
