[Vanerin Rossetta]
"Give me my bottle of Moonshine!."
Feet skimming slightly above the placid sea, Vanerin let out a whoop of exhilaration as a light breeze boosted the speed of her glider. The sun was casting its rays brightly and she could easily see her face mirrored on the water's surface. Shifting her position, she utilized the orb attachment and made her flying marvel faster, faster, faster. Over the sea's foaming waves, the leaping sea creatures, above the jagged rocks she flew and the feeling was indescribable.
She had just arrived on Wynlan territory from a long expedition on Utapian lands and a steamboat was expecting her, having earlier informed her retrieval team that she would be traveling by sea. Just as she decided that her glider could no longer muster enough lift to go on and that she might have to resort to prodding the magical attachment or else risk a soaking, the heavy steam trail that was a sure sign of one of Wynlan's steamboats greeted her. Her lips curved into a smile as she twisted and turned to land herself on the boat's deck. A group of men were waiting for her as her feet touched the floor.
"Hey!" one of the man greeted amiably, his dark skin glinting in the sun as he enveloped Vanerin in a massive bear hug.
"Hey yourself," Vanerin replied hugging the man back before she ducked to avoid a tap on the head. The group clustered around and began a rapid fire of physical greetings consisting of light punches and hits to which Vanerin reciprocated just as enthusiastically. They asked about the current situation and other vital information until their superior cleared his throat and motioned towards the debriefing room with a smile.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Soon, the ship landed on the Wynlan military port and Vanerin found herself on actual Wynlan land for the first time in months. Her eyes teared over dramatically and she shrieked before planting her face on the ground, kissing the earth she stood on. Her friends fished her hunched form and made a beeline for the nearest watering hole laughing loudly all the way.
