As I watched the Starlights fly into the sky, many thoughts ran through my head. What's going to happen next? Will Chaos return someday? As I kept thinking these things, a warm hand placed itself on my shoulder. "Minako..." I gasped and turned my head, my long blond hair flowing in the breeze. It was Makoto, whose face seemed to be troubled.
"Minako, is something the matter? You seem down." Her deep green eyes looked deep into me, hoping to find the solution to my problem. I shook my head as a response.
"Of course not, Makoto!" I replied happily, giving her a fake smile. "I'm just....thinking." It was then that Usagi, who was arguing with Rei for a while came up and put her hands on her hips. "Well, Mianko, I just hope that you're okay! We DID just saved the world, after all!" She smiled with such kindness in her face, I returned the favor and grinned. Usagi was an optimist, a girl who you would think wouldn't really have any problems at all.
Truth was, she had kept her feelings about not hearing from Mamoru from us. When we found out from Rei, I was nervous. But seeing her now, she was just so happy.
"You're right," I agreed. I then looked up at the sky. "I hope Galaxia will find happiness now." Ami came next, her short blue hair being blown by the wind. "She's returning all the Starseeds of the cosmos back, right? I'm sure that she's glad to revive all of those people."
Rei, who had sen Ami walk towards us, followed suit and nodded. "If it wasn't for Usagi, Galaxia would have caused much devastation." Her raven black hair flowed in the breeze as mine had. I nodded, and looked into the sky once more.
They're right, I thought. The world is safe, and as long as Chaos doesn't return anytime soon, then I'll be okay. Maybe now I can fulfill my dreams. I won the contest, so now my path to stardom has started.
