Alrighty. Let's start off with how things are going. Today's Senior Ditch Day according to Mr. Arguello, or, technically, not from what he said, which made even more people skip school today. So my class of 32 has become....uh...*counts*....11. Including the teacher. So we've kind of got free time, which is a perfect oppurtunity to re-cap what's been going on.
Friday night was pretty hectic, because exams were over, and that was all fine and dandy, but I needed to get to Anime Vegas tomorrow, and my room was a bit of a mess. Looking back, it was a good thing I didn't go to Josh's house that day, since I definetly wouldn't have gone. So once I took a small nap, and my dad had left to work, I got going with my laundry. I did like two weeks worth of clothes, which was like 4 loads, then about 4 or 5 towels, then my bedsheets, and my blankets. I started around 4, and finished completely around 1 that night, so while my clothes were washing, I scrambled around the house looking for anything out of order. So I did the trash, recycles, and dishes. Then I vacuumed my room and tidied it up back to how Russell had had it last week.
When my dad was on his way home from work, I was lying on my bed, having taken a shower, and my bed warm and nice-smelling enough to sleep in. But as soon as I realized lying on the bed was a mistake, I went downstairs, opened up a Pepsi, and sat in a chair, waiting. When he got there, I asked him, got a lecture about cleaning regularly, and not just so I can go places, and went to bed, thankful, but tired, ever so tired.
I woke up on time, got dressed, and headed out the door. Checking the time, it hit me that since Russell wasn't going to be waiting with me on Charleston, I didn't have to walk there, and could just take the Sahara bus. So I did that, and I missed the conversation we normally have on the way their, but I just tiddled away with random things. I got to Jones pretty early, and walked the distance, which wasn't that bad, and was actually a nice change of scenery compared to the usual trip. I got there with plenty of time to spare, so I bought breakfast, came back, and waited some more. Kids were outside being dumb, and it was getting harder to ignore them. Then some guy started trying to converse with people and hand out flyers to some Girl's Roller Derby, convincing me and the kids it was just like anime, "hot girls kicking a**". I folded the paper in my pocket, and thanked him, and returned to my thoughts.
Finally Jason arrived, and we caught up since I haven't seen him in a while, besides Pahrump, but we didn't see much of each other then. He pulled out some onigiri, announcing he had a rice cooker now, and a huge bag of rice. I had a little some, and then Jen popped up. She showed me her new Newtype, and we sat together flipping through it. I started to wonder when Russell would get there, so I called Josh's house on Jen's cell, but no answer, and by then the library opened up, so we dashed in, and reserved some seats. Once that was taken care of, I flew onto a computer, and checked Gaia, since it had been awhile.
As soon as Explorer opened up the homepage, I noticed it was already logged in as someone. The cookies on the library's server must be different than others. I thought about the situation for awhile, and decided I'd do the right thing. I jotted down her username, and PM'ed her explaining that she needed to be more careful, making sure she manually logged out from now on, she might not be so lucky next time. She ended up actually walking right behind me, after Russell spotted me on the computer, noticing I was on Gaia. I asked her her screenname, and small world, I told her about what had happened. She saw my items and thought I was some uber-veteran, which was kind of cool, but I was modest about it, I swear.
Going back to the auditorium, Alexis tackled me, long time no see from her, and showed off her and San's new tats. They're of Sasuke's Curse Seal, and when the curse is sealed off. We messed around and waited for the show to start, and when it did, I spotted Tabitha and called her over.
To be honest, a lot of the anime in the beginning sucked hard. Black Cat was good, and so was Shuffle and Jigoku. Break time was nice, we went to Jack In The Box and had some more onigiri. When it was all over, we hung back and attended Tony's workshop about the events he wanted to help us promote for the Vegas community for this year's con, like artwork, and more group events, like reviving Las Vegas Otaku. It sounds like a wonderful idea, and I'm all for helping him run a LVO message board.
Tons of people were messing around and mock-fighting with all their toys outside afterward, probably because they got kicked out. I was busy bugging Veronica and Jason, stealing her toys and shooting her with Nerf guns, but it was getting dark, so I proposed the idea we hang out at Jen's house. I had wanted to go over there for a while, so off we went, getting candy and soda on the way.
Coincidentally, we walked up the driveway as her parents were pulling up. I got introduced and we headed inside. She showed me the weapon collection on the wall, and I got the grand tour. Her army of plush on the bunk bed is actually kinda scary, but like scary as in "I'm afraid of all these animals attacking me believe it or not". We also got introduced to Bani, her little black rabbit. Of course Russell had to hold him, and then we jumped on her computers. I looked up Gaia again, while Russell was surfing, Bani nearly blew up the house, cause he peed on the table, and it like went everywhere, and nearly got into one of the computer towers. It was a milky color too, so I gagged for a bit.
I stayed on for a little while longer while Russell showed Jen how to hook up her PS2 to the living room T.V., since the one in her room broke. Her parents said we could play video games, but we only had one controller and a dance pad. I am proud to say playing Guilty Gear Isuka on a Dance Pad is possible, twice as fun, and ******** hilarious. I actually nearly beat Russell once too.
After that, we tried our hands on her American Idol game, which was kind of like DDR. I swear though, the only sound effect is that stupid "Ahhhhaa" American Idol sound they play whenever there's like a commercial break on the show. The game's not as bad as Jen made it out to be, she was like worried we were gonna laugh at her for having it, when it made the day as Best Game. The characters we made were ridiculous, Russell made like a Ronald McDonald guy, and he ended up winning, from singing "I Want It That Way" from the Backstreet Boys, which was funny, cause that was like McDonald's motto from back in the day. I had like his daughter, and Jen actually made a nice person, but ended up losing to him. He ended up borrowing it, and then it was getting late, so we had to go home. Jen walked us to the bus, with me singing all those hits we had performed. The bus came, and we waved her off.
The bus ride home was depressing, because we got into our deep conversations the both of us always do, like about our future. We're all worried and such, but I won't go into that, it's between us, and you wouldn't wanna hear it anyway.
We stopped at Taco Bell, and had dinner, and thought about stuff that's a secret, incase certain people read this, so I divulge it at a later date, when it's safe. We said our goodbyes and headed home.
I swear though, the walk home was extremely frightening. The street I go home on, was like purposely trying to scare me. One house had this gate that kept banging like something was trying to get out. One house's garage was open, and the light inside the garage kept going on....and off.....on.....and off..like clockwork. The last house had like a deflated Santa in it's yard, and I swear, in the dark, I saw a dead body. So needless to say, I picked up my feet a little.
I got home, played Resident Evil 4 until Kelly went to sleep, and then watched Bleach until like 4 in the morning.
Sunday, I woke up at two in the morning again, ate Quiznos for dinner, had some cake, and played Resident Evil 4 again the rest of the day. Talked on the phone with everyone, and went to bed after watching The Boondocks.
I'm so happy with this entry, it's so long and eventful. If I'm lucky, this semester won't be as bad. Who knows? Well, I do, sort of. confused

Did You Know?: Today as of this entry finishing, the 23rd, is National Pie Day, the celebration of pie. Have you had your pie today?
