Wow, this beginning of semester has been pretty cluttered. Tons of seniors ditched on Monday if I haven't already mentioned that. We got tons of updates and announcements involving all our classes, and frankly, I'm pretty concerned about how my final semester of High School is doing.
Government was fine, we did some Section Review work, and watched a video about Grad Night, and we were given packets we needed people and teachers to fill out. Algebra was a mixed bag, since he changed the seating arrangements, and announced that there would be no more notebook checks, or spelling tests. Also, homework would only be worth half of it's original grade. The catch, of course would be that now quizzes and tests are like all of our grade, so he's doing this to make sure we're learning and studying dutifully.
Psychology's back on track now that midterms are over, Ms. Klein is babying us, saying we need a rest after our ever so stressful exams. I really don't see how we need a break, since no one else is letting up on us, but hey, I'm not complaining. Web Design's pretty awesome now, since we've got about 6 or 7 tablets we're going to be using for future projects. I love tablets, Josh got me familiar with them after he got his for Christmas. We've also been installing Studio 8 around the classroom, so now we've got Dreamweaver and Flash and Fireworks updates everywhere, but I would still appreciate some Photoshop CS 2 please.
And as for Composition, we're working within discussing Peace Week, so we've been making posters and designing ideas to help promote peace, and on Friday we're allowed to dress up in 60's outfits. We've also got a Peace Week Essay contest, with some nice prizes, so I figured I'd enter it.
Besides homework and the usual deal with getting on Gaia and getting these updates finished, not much has been going on. I'm just trying to keep updated on this stuff mostly, but since Ms. Shugars has nothing for us to do, she drowns us in Textbook Tutorials for Photoshop. So, if I'm typing as furiously as, say I am right now, of course it's going to look suspicious. So I do what I can. 3nodding
