The Mansion
"I...am...so...BORED!!!", Rixa yelled.Roxas, Xion and Rixa weren't given any missions and were wasting time sitting at their usual spot on the Clock Tower.Some of the members had left for Castle Oblivion and the ones that had stayed behind had their own business to attend to."We have to find something to do!", Rixa said to herself, "Or I'll die of boredom!" "Ugh, same here.", Roxas groaned.Xion stared at her ice cream, watching it melt.Rixa started thinking up ideas to entertain them, observing the people walk around the town.She remembered there was a hole in a wall in one area and she thought they should investigate what lay beyond that wall."Hey Roxas, Xion, let's go check out what's beyond the hole in the wall!", Rixa said with excitement.Roxas nodded and answered, "It's just a forest...But there is a mansion in the forest...I've never gone there though."Rixa stood up quickly, her body shaking from excitement."I know what we can do!Saix likes us to investigate suspicious things, right?", Rixa replied, "So let's go check out that mansion." "I'm not sure we should, Rixa.", Xion said, "That mansion gives me the creeps." "Ooh, maybe it's a haunted mansion!Or are you two too scared to find out?", Rixa mocked.Roxas and Xion turned red, and accepted her dare.They headed toward the hole in the wall and went through it, walking through the forest.They soon saw the dark gates to the mansion, quiet as it was.Rixa approached the gate and tried to open it, but it was chained."Darn it!Wait." She summoned her sword and slashed the chains, breaking them easily.Xion squeaked a little and Roxas was a bit shocked."Ok, let's go in."Rixa was in front, Roxas and Xion staying close to each other, a bit creeped out at the mansion.As they entered the building, it was completely empty.There were a few items and tables scattered around, but otherwise, there was nothing of interest."Geez, who would live here?", Rixa asked. "Maybe it's an abandoned mansion.Why else would they say it's haunted?", Roxas answered, "But let's go, please.Something about it just doesn't feel right." "Roxas is right Rixa.Let's go.", Xion added, "We can find something else to do." "Oh, allright, fine.", Rixa grumbled, still wanting to see more.They went outside, Roxas and Xion chasing after one another in laughter while Rixa kept staring at the mansion.Something about it seemed to call her, trying to pull her in.She put both of her hands on the gate, closing it and staring at the mansion."I'll be back soon.", she whispered, then turned to go after Roxas and Xion.Unnoticed, a figure was at one of the top floor windows, watching the three of them.
