I swear, it really does take a government organization to make the application process ten times more complicated than it needs to be. I think my favorite so far is the "required" e-mail address for former employers. Some of them don't have e-mail address, as far as I know. I tried to put N/A, but that's not a valid e-mail address, according to the system. So I was forced to make up e-mail addresses and put short notes afterwards explaining that they were N/A. (Another annoying factor...limited line and character space. Sheesh.) But I applied for about...10 jobs on there. Even though it took me a couple of hours to fill out the original application. All of that stuff is on my resume, and in easier-to-read format, too. But nooooo, they never asked for my application. Whatever. I probably won't hear back about any of those jobs, as I have never heard back from a single job yet.
Not to sound down. Being unemployed is quite fun, if expensive. Tonight I'm going to a madrigal at my sister's alma mater. We're going to see my parents and her boyfriend and friends. Rah.
