You are speaking to: Vanerin Rossetta Pleased to meet you But most call me: Van I have lived for: 21 years I was born: Female and so shall i always be They told me that i was a: Human And so shall i always be What makes me, me is the way i am, and i am: Loud, cocky, and crazy are just some of the words others use to describe me. What I lack in brilliance and skill, I makes up for ten-fold in confidence and balls. Where others would hesitate, I wouldn't think twice and usually get it accomplished. My seemingly boundless energy and devil-may-care attitude made a lot of my comrades wary of whatever I have brewing inside my mind. I immediately warm-up to complete strangers due to my extensive experience in the art of drunken comradeship and am very quick to jump in on bar room brawls. I usually speak frankly and honestly with everybody, but have also learned to be polite and even sometimes 'sugarcoat' my words when necessary. People who are "too nice" confuse me and puts me on a panic since I don't know how to deal with them. I prefer the familiarity of brotherly rough-housing. When somebody verbally offends me, I just shrug it off as something not worth bothering with, but usually will hit back brutally when it gets physical. According to my then commanding officer, "Vanerin might be young woman from a highly reputable family but she sure acts like a ten-year old little boy." If you don't like it then its not my problem I am unlike you in any possible way: Though I like to pretend that I'm a defenseless girl, I am an expert in hand-to-hand combat, swordplay, and archery. I have also received advanced medical training from the military. My ability to influence or convince people that they are strong and can do anything has served me much in my position as a military officer. I can basically survive under the harshest circumstances and have been known to sustain fatal injuries while still fighting. The strength of my heart and mind is my greatest asset. That's why you can never be like me Picking sides can be difficult, but i have chosen mine: Silver Empire And i stand by that decision If you try anything i might strike you down with: My crystal rapier Fortitude and my round shield that reflects a variety of magic attacks. I also have my mother's ring which seems to give me the ability to regenerate rather quickly. And don't you forget it This is my storybook: Born on a forgotten land that once was home to the Silver Empire, it is inevitable that I stand under the banner of my people. I have been raised in Feraldis under the watchful eyes of my father, a high-ranking military official and have been marching to beat of the war drums since day one. My mother had died during the war due to unknown circumstances when I was five, but my father made sure that I do not grieve too much. I was placed under the tutelage of various 'volunteers', my father's friends and subjects in the military.
At the dying request of my mother, I was enrolled in an exclusive all-girls Academy where I had learned exceptional cooking, dancing, and other lady-like skills though I ended up causing chaos and havoc on the process. I suspect that my father's influence was the only thing that prevented the school from kicking me out especially when some very odd people, namely my 'tutors', arrived during and after school hours in unorthodox manners to drill me in any skill they deemed necessary. I learned basic combat and survival skills while my classmates were prancing around in frilly dresses, learning to how to curtsy properly during some what-not event. Even my natural aptitude for survival was threatened during those sessions.
I was granted permission to leave the academy at fifteen and transferred to The Silver Empire's elite military school where my skills were further honed. Not a lot of students, especially girls, were accepted into the academy due to its rigorous entrance examinations but I was able to pass with flying colors. Along with my outstanding results and various recommendations, I was assigned to advanced classes and specialized training. I got high scores on all activities and my superiors told me that I had a very bright future ahead of me. A lot of my male classmates resented my intrusion on the school's hierarchy at first, but had learned to respect me whether it was gladly or grudgingly. During a field training, my class squadron broke off from the main party and was ambushed by the rebellion. My squad leader was killed during the onslaught and I found myself leading my classmates. Victory smiled at me during that day and my name was forever immortalized in the school's halls as one of the youngest military genius.
I graduated at the top of my class at eighteen and was assigned to the elite division. I still suspect it was my father's influence that got me that spot, but I also worked hard for it. It was painful to have people look down on me, thinking that I only got that far due to my family name. I fought hand and tooth everyday just to prove myself. When others showed exceptional skills in something, I desperately strove to outdo them even if that area was never my specialty. Call it obsession, but I don't care.
Alas, my perseverance paid off and I rapidly rose through the ranks. I led a variety of conquests in where I always came out victorious. The heady scent of invincibility seeped into my skin as I fought war after war and my men's strength increased with each successful campaign. Even so, it came as a big surprise to me when I was offered the title of Imperial Champion, since despite everything, I never believed that I was even close to achieving such a rank. Despite my father's reluctance the title was shoved in my face so I accepted. When all the formality and celebration was done, I was now officially a member of the Imperial Champions. But more chapters still needs to be written The pretty water reflects everything and this is me: Link The name of the one pulling the strings is: Happy Sparky When the strings moves, so do i
