Night Before Christmas, rewritten by me
Tis the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was sleeping not even a mouse. Screams could be heard and laughter from inside as children danced by the window outside. As the night drew on and Santa did come the elves had a plan that they planned very well. Santa had over worked the poor little dears and now it was their time to show him his fears. Santa came down the chimney with care and saw the massacre in front of the stairs. His face turn green as the elves popped out from behind the couch and tied Santa up with tinsel and sprouts. The elves danced around the chummy old bum as they lit the place a blaze and sang, "Merry Christmas to all! And, to all a good night!"
