Why?
As time goes by I wonder why. All your life you work hard, go through pain, cause others pain, build and destroy, but for what? Why do we work so hard? Why do we go through pain? Why do we cause others pain? Why do we build when it will just be destroyed? When you look past working hard for a job and a home and family, when we look past that that is after the pain, after we cause others pain for things we want, after building just to be destroyed, why? When we grow old and no longer have a job or a home of your own or even a family of your own, you think, why? What was the point of it? No matter what happens during your life, even if it lasts past that, why did you do it when your just going to die anyway? Why do we go through the pain just to die? Slowly or quickly? Why do we cause others pain? When life is over and you look back, what did that do for you? Did you get the job you wanted? Or the home you wanted? What does it matter when your time has come? When you build something, it will not last forever, nothing will. If you build something, its as if your building it just for someone else to destroy. When you destroy, what does it do for you? When life is over, what did your life do for you that will last past life? But what you do in life will always be there. Weather it's find a cure for cancer, or just simply graduating from school, no one will ever be able to undo that, or destroy that. Nothing you do in life will follow you to where ever you may go. But what you do in your life will last throughout your life, it will never be undone. Some people think that, if your good in your life, they you will go to Heaven. If your bad in your life, then you will go to Hell. But nothing in your life will follow you after that. It's like being reborn. Some people say that's exactly what happens. When you die your spirit will be put in an animal or another human and you will restart your life and never remember anything. Past life doesn't seem that unreasonable, but that is only one opinion. So one knows for sure. Not even 'God'. No one knows if God is real. If you go to church, if you pray, if you follow your religion, how many times have 'God' or 'Jesus' actually come to you in the flesh and tell you the secrets of life and death? Because if they have, please tell me. It must be an interesting story. No one will ever know what goes on after your death. Ghosts may be real, but who says they will talk to us, or even be around us. If a ghost is angry with you or something, they still would never tell you what happens after death. 'Cause they don't know themselves. Some people say ghosts are from the afterlife and have come back. But if their here, then how can they be dead? If they can be around us and talk and move things and sill know about their life, then are they really dead? One of the universal questions is why? Why do we work so hard? Why do we create religions? Why do we build cities and civilizations? Why do we create languages? Why do we create countries? Why do we separate each other? Why don't we all just get together? Because people have different beliefs and different ideas. We all have only one life. Some people may say that we will have different lifetimes. But if we do switch lives at death, we still don't remember our last life and what we did in our last life. What mistakes we made, what we accomplished. We only have one lifetime to get it right, because we don't remember any other life times we may have had. So, why, do we do all of this? 'Cause we only get one shot at life. One shot to make it all right. One shot to do things right. So next time you think, why? Why do I bother to do this? No matter what it is. 'Cause this is your only shot, your only chance. You screw up, you will never get the same chance. So live life to the fullest and always remember, why
