Well, this is the beginning. Let me start out by saying that I generally tend to dislike poets. It has been my experience that poets are full of themselves. They often suggest that poetry is the only form of artistic expression through the written word. As an aspiring novelist, I find this attitude quite offensive. If you are not a poet (or, in rare cases, not that kind of poet), then we just might all get along. But not now. I am tired and want very much to go to bed. Good night, ladies, gentlemen, and assorted tropical fish.
