I need to get some way to show my parents my grades, it's been way too long since I've gotten on a computer that doesn't suck, and I'm sick of having to update at school and worry about stuff. It's been like 4 days since I've gotten a good entry in, and I'm tired of it. gonk
Anyway, the week's been going pretty busy so far. FBLA's been on my a**, but a lot of the stuff we had to get done is over, so now we have our waiting period again where we have to move our asses. We had testing for the different competition areas all this week, and I ended up going two days since I was the only one who signed up for more than two tests. They were taken online, and they weren't that hard, so I don't see why I wouldn't compete in them at the actual competition.
Government's been fine, we took the Chapter Test in groups, and ours was the only one who got an A. So I'm proud of that, and I actually have a solid A in his class currently. Algebra's been easy, believe it or not, been doing and turning in all my homework, thanks to Amber of course, and the test tomorrow's gonna be a cinch, if I don't get at least a B I'll be shocked. I found out I got a B on that other test, so my grade at that point was an 85 already, but during this week he mentioned that he's bringing the homework back to 10 points per assignment, I think since half the class dropped to F's after taking that exam.
Psychology's been one weird class. Now that we've done all the bookwork on the relation to Biology and Psychology, now we've been getting lectures and demonstrations and all that. We did this one exercise where me and Kesean acted like two different eyes to show how they send the images to the brain, and I had to turn my head and not look at the objects Ms. Klein was showing Kesean, to illustrat that I was a damaged nerve or whatever. One of the times I guessed what item she was holding, and actually got it right, but she blamed my other senses since I told her that I'd heard her pull the pen from her little case. The second time I guessed that she was holding her Jell-O, because she'd been eating it earlier. It turned out to be tape, but she walked over and tried to spoon feed me some, which I turned down at first, but then had some to get her away. It was really sugary. xp
Web Design's basically been FBLA related all week, doing the tests and handing out all the Data Match forms, so it's been kind of hectic, but we're getting there. She's throwing all these differnet projects at us again, and Amber, Tabitha and I can't do it. It's getting too much, with this Career Discovery Day stuff, and now she's got us working on our own portfolios for when we have that Senior thing where we get job interviews and stuff. So yeah, B-O-R-I-N-G. *insert sleepy emoticon here*
As for Composition, we're doing another essay assignment, Compare and Contrasting certain objectives or subjects involving our vocations. We're gonna be in the Library today, so maybe I'll get some post-lunch Gaia time.
Home life's not been too bad, I've been taking naps and trying to stay out of people's way, but I got into a fight with my dad because I lied about staying out as late as I did Tuesday when I went to Kalen's. So yeah, not being a good son and stuff. But other than that I'm getting by, and just waiting for the weekend as usual.
