Selling out to THE MAN
I'm kind of pissed today. I'm big into anime and manga, so I check out the subbed episodes of certain anime's I like. Bleach is one of my favorites. The anime usually gets onto the internet on Wednesdays, Wednesday being yesterday. Yesterday I wasn't able to check because I was really busy. So today I go to check, and what happens? I get fifty billion popups getting me to do things before I'm allowed to watch the damn video. Okay, maybe fifty billion is a little over the top, it was really only two. But still, I have to fill out a freaking survey before I can watch Bleach on 4bleach.com?! And it wasn't even a cool quiz type thing like you find on facebook. It actually starts out like that, but to finish, you have to sign up for offers, that if you're under 18 like me, you really shouldn't be signing up for in the first place. When I tried to just opt out of the survey, I got a pop up message telling me that I had to do this if I wanted to keep the content of the website free. It's like, what the hell man?! This stuff has always been free! Why would it change now? Has 4bleach sold out to the corporate Man? God I hope not. Anime, manga, and comics in general have a certain goodness that shouldn't be subjected to corporate greed. It's just not right. Now, I must search for another website that hasn't been subjected to such evils. Good day to you.
