You can read if ya want... I mean it's not like I'm going to lock it up and throw it down a river. Just know that not all of it relates to me, I mean I always write when I'm upset, but that's besides the point. Oh yeah, comments are fine with me and constructive criticism is welcomed. ^^
Story about my day (Yesterday)
A wave of panic went through me as my best friend told me he was back in the hospital and that he was soing worse. At first I didn't believe her, but I could tell that she was telling me the truth. Drumline practice had just ended and I was waiting for my ride. Betsy had just got out of drama practice also, so she let me know what was going on with Andrew, thankfully.
"He's gonna be there 3 to 5 days." Betsy said sadly, looking at me.
"No way!" I exclaimed, you could hear my voice quivering.
"Yeah," She nodded furiously.
I just looked at her, unsure of what I should say.
"Would you want to come visit him with me and my mom?" She asked me.
My eyes widened in surprise. "Yes!" I said without hesitation, but then added. "I'd have to ask my mom first and see if I can go."
So we made plans, she'd call me and let me know if we cold go, and then we'd go after her rifle sectional which ended at 8:30.
I waved goodbye as my ride got there and walked outside to the car, hoping I cloud go see Andrew later that night.

. . . . . . . . . . .

Later, I sat waiting, waiting, waiting at 8:42. For a call, so then I decided to call Betsy.
Two rings and then she picked up.
"Hello?" She said
"Hey, it's just me." I replied.
"Oh hey."
"So do you know if we can go or not?" I asked politely, but there was urgency in my voice.
"Not yet. His mom never replied if it was okay if we come up or not. I think his phone's off now." She said, a bit dissappointed.
"Oh." Was all I said.
"But my mom's going to call the hospital and get a hold of them." Betsy said with assurance. "So I'll call you back in a few. Alright?"
"Mmmkay," I said, feeling the hope return back to me.
"Alright bye"
"Buh-bye." I said and I heard a click, then I too hung up the phone and went back to reading my U.S. history book.
It was about four minutes later when she call back.
"Hey!" I started out.
"Hey," She replied, "so we can go. What time do you have to be home"
I asked my mom, who fairly said 10:30 wold be late enough on a school night. I relayed the message to my best friend, who said alright and then told me they'd be over in a few to pick me up. We both hung up again and I rushed to grab my boots and scarf.
I waited some more. It felt like forever but it was only ten minutes.
Calling out to my parents as I headed to the door, they told me goodbye also and I shut the door, making my way over to the nice warm car. I greeted Betsy and her mom in the car and then we headed toward the hodpital.

. . . . . . . . . . .

Finally we had pulled into the parking lot, infront of the entrance we needed to go in through. I got out of the car, taking a second to look up. It was snowing quite heavily, but I loved it.
"Come on." Betsy said to me starting to walk away from the car. I followed her shivering, I loved snow, but I hated the cold. When we finally reached the building and got inside I was happy.
There were sercurity guards there in the booth, they looked at us, asking if they could help us. Betsy's mom told them we were here to see Andrew. One of them nodded and gave us vistor passes.
Then the three of us walked through some doors, heading toward the elevators. Once we were on the third floor I started getting a little nervous. I wasn't sure what he'd look like or what condition he'd be in. I was a little worried, no I was a lot worried. I couldn't help it, that was just the way I worked.
Getting to his room, I let out a heavy sigh, preparing myself. I wa so very happy I was going to see him, but again I was still worrying. We knocked on the door and then went in, slowly, greeting him and his mom.
I kept my eyes on him, looking him over. He was lying in a hospital bed, but it was on a slight angle, probably to help hin breathe. He also had a tube running to his nose, again to help his breathing I assumed. I also noticed a scratch above his left eyebrow, in kind of a U shape. He looked tired and sick. I felt so bad for him, my eyes got a bit watery, thankfully no one noticed.
Betsy and her mother did most of the talking, I stayed very quiet, just simply looking at him. Staying focused on him.
Once someone came in to take, according to him, more blood. I looked away, needles always made queasy. I was glad when she left.
When we finally had to leave, I looked at him, wishing I could say I loved him but to many people were around.
"Feel better, alright." I said and then told both him and his mother goodbye and we left.

. . . . . . . . . . .

I was so tired when Betsy's mom pulled into the driveway. I thanked her for picking me up and then opened the car door to get out. Once inside I went and told my mom the just of the night and then headed to bed. I prayed for him, and then prayed for some other things. Before I fell asleep I was thinking about him and hoping that he would get well soon. I didn't sleep well that night.

. . . . . . . . . . .

End

What's weird is that I wrote the day before he passed away.
