I felt so empty and cold
I was lost and sad
Yet you come, someone to hold
And life wasn't all that bad

Every time I am feeling down
It takes you but a single smile
To change my small frown
And get my heart to race a mile

We walk together, hand-in-hand
And from the ground our love does spring
Wonder and happiness along the land
Now that is what I love about this thing
