Up on the clouds
all fluffy and white.
I shall not
lay my head tonight.
I take the dot
and swallow it down.
My friend makes sure
no one is around.
From the moon and the stars,
the wind and the rain.
No matter what hits me now.
I feel no pain.
I'm falling deeper
into this slumber.
Looks like grandfather time
has my number.
My head falls back.
It tasted so sweet.
From one trance to another
I drifted asleep.
