Despair
(Please note that this is an old poem I wrote and does not represent my current feelings)
A wakeless dream
From which I cannot awaken
I try to scream
But slowly, I am taken
By the darkness surrounding me
I cry in fear,
Crumbling to my knees
And wishing it would disappear
Slowly, I sink into the chilling embrace,
Erasing my life
No more worries
No more strife
Downward I spiral,
Falling, slipping, into black
I scream out in vain
Hope, I lack
But what do I find?
Something catches me
I turn to look,
What is this I see?
You.
You, who are there
Always and forever
Will you save me from despair?
