Title: Cracking China
Plot: In a world where it is always ngihttime there are three moons that li right in a rowl The first is a crescent moon facing to the left, the second a full mon, and the third another crescent facing to the right. This gives off the apearance that the full moon has wings. These moons are called the Angel by the people of Heartess that they wach over. In the world of Heartess there are creatures called dolls, man made beings that have long sinced evolved into intelligent beings. However, since thy are not human they are seperated from the real humans, living in run down towns and forbidden to live in the human society. However, it is very hard to tell a doll from a human and therefore some have secretly been living within the human society. Then, one night there is a murder. One doll, sent to protect a human child has been smashed and it's inner core, or the heart has been stolen. Three dolls are sent from the dolls society to team up with two humans in order to solve this crime. however one of the dolls is brutally beaten by the humans, who despise its perfect looks, leaving only two. The two dolls and humans then beging to investigate the original murder, only to have one of the dolls become the second victem of the murered and have its own heart stolen as well. Things begin o escalate, when more and more dolls begin to die, and not just the ones in the hman society. Now dolls in the doll society as well as humans hiding there as well are being found dead. Finally, the team of now three finally get a lead, straight to the number one scientist of Heartess. The plot thickens when the three find out that the man is stealing doll hearts to power up a machine that will destroy the two crescent moons in order to destroy the worlds ecosystem, from which he will power another machine with human hearts in order to control. From there the team of three must stop him and his minions. The adventure continues in a sort of game designed by the scientist, during which it is revealed that the three dolls who were assinged to the case were the real targets for murder. Their hearts were designed with the most ower and therefore were hunted. This leaves the two humans to protect the last remaining doll, but one of the detectives is illegally falling in love with her and the scientist tries to use that weekness. however, the other human sacrifices himself in order to save the two. The two go on to defeat th scientist later on, only to discover that their partner had not died, but had gone to get reinfocements.
Character designs:
Ambery: She is one of the three dolls assigned to accompany the three humans in the investigation of doll murders. She is the only one to survive out of the three and is the real target of the murderers. her heart was designed to hold enough power to charge an entire city for thousands of years. Due to this the enemies wish to use her in their plans. Ambery falls in love with one of her human partners.
Dannel: He is one of the three dolls assigned to accompany the thre humans in the investigation of the doll murders. He is actually of the same design as Ambery and is seen as her brother. He is the second doll to be killed before the murderers begin to pick oup their pace. His heart is stolen from his body and therefore he cannot be reanimated. However, the last image that is able to be retrieved from his brain center shows a man in a long black coat walking off with his heart.
Zane: He is one of th three dolls assigned to accompany the three humans in the investigation of the doll murders. however, he does not make it very far into the plot because he is killed off by jealous and fearful humans. They gang up on him and beat him into innefectiveness, beacause he had programmed himself to never harm humans. Because of the humans his heart was damaged and could no longer work. Ambery then sends the heart back to the doll society where it gets recycled.
Keegan: He is one of the two humans assigned to the doll murder case. originally he is against it, despising dolls for various reasons. The main reason is that he believes a doll killed his mother and father. He instantly dislikes the three dolls assigned to assit their investigation. He also is the one who let the humans destroy Zane. he knows they had planned the attack and then let them do it. However, as the story goes he begins to regret the decision to do nothing and eventually hates himself for it as he begings to be friends with the last two dolls. He ffels the utermost guilt when he learns of the second dolls death, having become somewhat of a friend with it. Eventually the thought of regret lingers forever in his heart when he begings to fall for the last doll. Eventually he tlls her of what he had done, letting it go as she frgives him. Howver, this love he has for the doll is exploited and used by the villain and h is saved by his other human partner.
Ryker: he's the second human assigned to the doll murder case. he's more easy going about the dolls than his partner, though he is very cold and stern on the outside. he ends up becoming friends very easily with the dolls and ends up faking his own sacrifice in order to save his partner and the last living doll on their team. he then goes and brings back reinforcements from teh doll society, where it is learned that he has a gay lover from there.
Doctor Ein: Not much is known about him personally. He is just known as the scientist who wants to use doll hearts to kill two out of three moons and use human hearts to controll whats left.
Unknown: No one knows who this doll is. They only know that Doctor Ein has reprogrammed her into being his minion. He does not take her heart because she is usefull to him.
