I want to catch a star and keep it close to my heart
To always feel its gentle warmth when things don't go my way
To see when the path a head of me grows dark
To feel when the hope has left these hands

So I'll never be alone when everyone has gone

But can you really keep a star?
Or would it even let someone, so fragile as me
Keep it, Catch it, Hold it
Before its too late, I want to know

Before this light leaves my skin

Am I allowed to feel this way again
That I am drawn to this certain star in the sky
Like the North Star guiding me home
I want to follow it until the very end

And become a star myself for someone new.
