History: Raised in a broken household with her mother having run off with her older brother. Her father gets into trouble with team Rocket and in order to resolve financial issues with them, is literally forced into selling his daughter to them. One day, coming home from school, she comes upon her father's corpse, who hung himself out of shame for selling her. She was six or seven at this time.
