Well, here I am, but I'm not the same anymore. Deciding to cast aside the beggar look, I took on a military uniform. Yes, despite the long hair, I have never been against going to war for a good cause. Unfortunately, my pride-and-joy silver pocketwatch is covered up in the folds of my overcoat, but it's still there. I promise. Speaking of promises, I also got the one piece of jewelry I will ever wear: a silver promise ring. Sadly, I don't have a weapon, but books are pretty powerful if you know how to use them. Besides, it may be listed as a sketchbook, but it's a novel as far as I'm concerned. I can't draw to save my life anyway. And now I'm poor again. Heavy sigh.
