If I were to tear away the layer of skin embracing me like a cast
would you see i am human
If I were to rip the layer of fat off of me
would you see I am human
If I were to shed the layer of muscles incasing my bones and playing with them like puppets
would you see I am human
If I were to cry till veins in my eyes broke like twigs
would you see I am human
If I were to bleed from all the wounds you dealt upon me
would you see I am human
If I were to go back to those years as a little boy when you loved me
would you see I was human
If I were to die all of a sudden
would you see I am human

This is a poem about my mom who found out I was gay when i was 15.
She loved me before she found that out.
Now I am her own little devil </3
