A Record of My Time Here
I'm pretty much just using this for gold.
Backyard
As I listen to an upbeat 80s style elektro remix of an old Sega Genesis song, I decided to blog just now. Today I spent a great deal of time outside after the incident. The incident, refers to the horrible taste left in my mouth from consuming a good amount of UNSWEETENED cranberry juice. I poured about 8 oz.'s worth of it, and refused to dump it down the drain and be wasteful, or add anything else to it because I had already put a spoonful of honey in it which didn't help anything. It's like swallowing bile I tell you. Anyways, I drank some water after that to relieve the interior of my mouth. OK... So when the snow came and left Texas, it took this tree in our backyard down. The yard needs to be cleaned up, so I've started the process of removing this dead and dry tree by breaking off it's limbs with my bare hands, then breaking them into smaller bits for the fireplace in the future. I've done quite a lot without the use of tools, but that's not quite what I want to talk about. The burning sensation from the friction of the bark against my hands while twisting and crushing branches is satisfying in a strange way. I don't really enjoy all that pain, as I suffered nicks and cuts from the flailing branches I was breaking, but I guess it was more or less because I knowingly inflicted pain on myself, knowing that my hands would eventually heal and become more callous. Well that's pretty much it I guess. You wouldn't generally approach large tree removal with your small, bare hands, but even the largest things are made up of the smallest parts.
