The Book Of Remembrance and Forgetting
Hopefully, mostly remembrance. My New Year's Resolution this year was to keep a journal...this isn't exactly a chronicle of my exploits (though at times it becomes such) as a stream-of-conciousness narrative. Enjoy.
Random Ramblingssss
Okay. So, at this point, I have Something(s) To Say and I really, really cannot keep changing my Gmail status every five seconds, especially if I expect someone to reply so that I can elaborate. Therefore, I choose to elaborate here- sending my thoughts out into the void, as it were, but at least I can ramble the way I can't on Gmail.

FMA. I've been watching and reading a lot of this lately- maybe too much, since I've been obsessing just a little bit. But I have to say... it's really good. However, since I've been squeeing about that other places, I'll get to the real point.
My favorite character, at this point (13 volumes into the manga, appx. 3/4 through the 2003 anime) is Riza Hawkeye. She's everything I've always liked in characters- a strong heroine, seriously badass, utterly devoted to a 'certain someone' (and of course I've figured out who it is; I'm not an idiot), and a big softie inside no matter how she chooses to potty train her dog. And the thing is, there's this song I've been listening to a lot lately that reminds me of her- in fact, it's perfect for her. So out of curiosity, I do a search on YouTube for 'Hawkeye tribute'- and what should I find? Not one but two tribute vids using that song. The song is 'Stand in the Rain' by Superchic(k) and the vids are here and here, if you're interested. Spot on song, I repeat.
