I wish I had more dreams. Having dreamless nights makes me think I didn't do enough during the day, like I got nothing accomplished in terms of something productive. Yuck, I just used one of my dad's words, I really am losing it. xp
Now that we're back on schedule, it's nothing but due dates an events. I've got to watch Sophia today, Kelly's at class again, so no big deal, get my time on Gaia, maybe play a couple games, that sort of thing. We did start the Data Match fundraiser, which actually went really nicely, we got a lot of stuff done, people really eat that stuff up. I guess my class was just being defective when they got all negative about the testing period. It was funny seeing the groups of girls huddle around each other to see each other's results. Some people were just being straight ignorant, actually asking if they could see the results, and then pay.
It scares when you realize they seriously asked that, and expected a straight-faced answer. Some people were like, "Aw, can't you just grab it and give it to me later?" Hell no! I don't care how much of a friend you are to me, it was only $2 for the results, every single one of you has two dollars to blow, kids get so much damn money these days, they want a freebie. There's only like 2 kids I would have done that for, only because they currently live on their own, making a living for themselves. The money is going to help me and my classmates go to the State Competition, I'm not selling these so I can buy a bike, I actually need this money. And I'll be damned if we don't raise enough money to go, everyone's been busting their asses way too much to just not get to go after all this work.
But like I said, save for the occasional idiot, we sold a bunch, but we've still got a ton more, so there's plenty of room for profit. It was actually a lot of fun, Mrs. Shugars got the whole class involved pretty much, so it was more like Web Design's fundraiser instead of just FBLA. I figure they must have thought it was a way out from working on the portfolios, and it was a fun activity, most people like to do this stuff. Josh and everyone showed up, so I made them spread the word and made sure they bought one.
I missed the Staff/Student basketball game today though, since I have to baby-sit, but that's alright. I'll get people to tell me about it.
