Lavapaw blinked her eyes open from the long nap she took. She looked around, confused because she forgot where she was at. Then she remembered her apprentice ceremony yesterday. Almost purring from the memory, she got up and stretched. A growl rose from the nest next to her. She glanced over and saw Batpaw growling in his sleep. Lavapaw smirked and crept out of the den.
Faint sunbeams lit up the camp and birds gave it a peaceful, green-leaf scene. Pumped and ready for the day, Lavapaw went and looked for her mentor
