NOOK :D :D :D Aside from getting an adorable all natural/organic faerie ragdoll, a couple Pokemon-themed goodies, a gorgeous book containing Dante's Divine Comedies (that weighed about fifty pounds and that my mom dropped on my head- long story xD), my mom got me a Nook :3 I'm already formulating a list of books to download~ probably starting with World War Z. I'm very excited ^__^ I'm gonna try to get her one for her birthday over the summer, so that we can share books and stuff. I'll be working and my money plus some of my dad's should be able to pay for one. EDIT; World War Z is win so far. <3

But before I go on a small rant, I want to say I'm glad you got so many wonderful gifts! xD
I usually forget to give my parents my wish list.

I will never get a nook, or any of the sort. It's like reading manga online, sure, it's convenient, but it can never compare to holding it in my hands. Even more so with books over manga. And besides, I don't buy many books, I only buy my absolute favorites. I'm a traditionalist in that sense (which is why my bookshelves are so full! xD)

Yes, my head is fine. Ha ha.

Yeah, I was really anti-Nook for a while. But my mom started cleaning out my closet one day to make a point, and oh Lord, I didn't realize I'd accumulated that many books.
And anyway, if a story's good enough, I honestly don't care if I'm reading it on a screen or on paper. One of the best series of novels I've ever read was 'Shadow of the Templar' and I read all four books online. I don't mind; the stories were good enough that the lack of paper no longer mattered.

I don't need my mom to clean out my closet to know. xD
I have too many books, but I plan on donating most of them this summer after I read through them. **nods**
Still, I just need the pages, I have a memory that only works when an item is in my hands. I can't remember what volume or page something happens on when it's not in my hands, and I have this thing where I need to know where in the book something happens. Weird, but it's me.
