yeah, i'm writin a new journal entry for literally no absolute reason except to tyoe and it's ten minutes past the time i should get up to my room.
so anyhoo, as i'm writing this, i'm listening to my currently favorite band, showbread. most likely, you've never heard of them, acuz if you did, you would know who i'm talking about. dey's some insane dudes^^ i'm really mad though because the lead singer went and cut his hair... at least it's still past his ears, or else i would be seriously mad...
speaking of dudes cutting their hair... WHY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
i mean, there's this one cute dude at my school with pretty, long hair. he cut it about an inch a while back, so it didn't make much difference, but i was still pretty mad... it's longer now, and his hair's pretty prettyer now...
but there's this other dude at my school, who liked me back, and his hair was pretty long as well, but then about three weeks ago he went and cut it to the tops of his ears. I. AM. NOT. HAPPY.
and now this dude who was in my choir cut his hair less than an inch long! i loved his hair! and he goes and ruins things for me!
AND NOW THE LEAD SINGER OF MY MOST FAVORITE BAND GOES AND CUTS HIS HAIR AS WELL!!!
am i being punished for something???
now i'm stuck with the cute junior... ah well... i think that he liked me... either that or there was something going on behind me that would always make him smile... sweatdrop we don't see each other in the halls so much anymore, so whenever i see him, he probably never sees me, so he has on a natural face... it looks sad... not nearly as cute as his smile... i wish i knew his name... i think his younger brother is in my 3rd period class... i think... he looks alot like him... the younger brother-neil... neal... something like that- is a lot more talkative than him, but he's on the other side of the classroom, and ms. lovaty's scary, so i can't just go up to him and ask some weird spontaneous question about possible brothers.

ooh! how about a list of bands found on my mp3 player in order of awesomness???
1. showbread
i found those humans not too long ago... a while farther than a few other bands i have. the first song i've heard from them was mouth like a magazine, and i was instantly hooked. i now have three of their five cds downloaded onto my phone, and i have to listen to them every day.they're the kind of band who changes their style with every cd, but with showbread, they only get awesomer and awesomer, not like afi who are nothing but crap now. they don't really have a specific genre. i don't blame them. their music's so loud, yet fun. even on their first cd (no sir, nihilism is not practical (i'm not making that up!)), even though they do alot of screamo et that crap, you just need to listen to them more! i've only had a problem with one of their songs (samsa meets kapfka(?)) out of all i've heard. trust me, these guys are good.
2. family force 5
basicly the first band that i really started getting into. i had a bit of an aerosmith phase before them, but i'm way out of it, now. the first song that i heard from them was radiator. it was hard not to be interested in their stuff after seeing the music video (that's how i find most of my bands-through one single music video). you had five pretty dudes, singing a song that was impossible not to move to, who actually looked like they were having fun. i quickly ran to the computer (wait! i was sick with the flu... so i actually groggly made it to the computer) and youtubed, wikied, myspaced, you name it, them. (what? i research all my bands before allowing them a spot on my phone's memory card!) they have this youtube miniseries called the family force 5 really real show. i bacly got to know each of the band members before getting to know their music. they've been described as five adhd kids who forgot their ridalin and broke into a truck full of instruments and made it onto a random stage somewhere (or something like that). no matter. i like their first cd out of all three so far
3. flyleaf
halfway there! flyleaf... their first song i saw (music video!) was i'm so sick. it was so interesting. there was this tiny, sickly girl, singing supposedly slightly off key, then breaking into a heavy metal scream. i instantly fell in love with the music. i tried my best to research them, but they don't have much. i've learned more about them from their cd booklets than the internet. thier first cd was very good. i'm not as big a fan with their second, but it's in the form of a story, so i don't know if that has anything to do with that or not. the genre for the second cd is still metal, even though only three or four of all the songs qualify. it's pretty cool, though, because i've seen quite a few dudes roaming around my school in flyleaf t-shirts. there's this black one with a skeliton on like a coffin covered in red velvet with som e roses that i only had a glimpse of, but instantly fell in love with. i might just go to one of their concerts just to get that t-shirt.
the rest, i don't know much about. i downloaded one of each of their cds, but only two or three of alll the songs i really like. it's past midnight (past meh bedtime!) so i need to wrap this up quickly:

edit! holy crap! i totally forgot to throw afi in there! i only have their december underground cd, but i liked almost all of the songs on it. the only reson i only have four of their songs on my cellular device is because i forgot to delete one^^ actually, it was because i was getting a bit tired of them. i still really liked them, though. there were three songs i really liked and would never get tired of, so i kept them. i still listen to the actual cd, though. i'd through afi at the same place of flyleaf, because i still really like flyleaf, so i don't think they deserve to be placed fourth, and i don't like afi enough to be number three or two, so, yeah...
