The Plight of Katrina

The Saiyan toddler stared up at the ceiling of the room. Why had she come to this place again? Oh yea, that boy who called himself Goku. He was a Saiyan, wasn't he? He had a tail, so he had to be. But he was so clueless, nothing like she knew Saiyans were supposed to be like. He even tolerated that girl Bulma when she had hit him!
Why didn't he destroy that annoying woman? He was a Saiyan, after all! No weakling human should be allowed to strike him and live. The only reason Kat allowed the woman to live was because Goku seemed to like her, though Kat still couldn't figure out why.
No, the only one Kat trusted even the slightest was Goku. And that was only because he was a Saiyan, and the only Saiyan she had seen here on Earth.
That Bulma, though.... Kat didn't trust her at all. There was no reason to. She was nothing like Kat. She was a weakling, a human, she didn't even have a tail!
But then again, she had brought Kat into her own home without even knowing anything about her, and she had treated a cut Kat had received during the crash and following explosion of her pod...
Kat looked out of the window in the room. "Daddy...." She missed Planet Vegeta...
There was a knock at the door, and she whirled around, ready to fire a blast. But when it opened, there was that woman again.
"Hey, Kat! I thought you might be hungry. Are you feeling better today? How's that cut?" Bulma smiled brightly at the youngster, despite the look of almost hatred from Kat. The woman set a tray down and headed towards Kat to look at the cut on her arm. But she stopped when Kat glared at her. "All right, I won't touch it. But you know, it would heal better..." She paused for a moment. "I'm afraid I don't have any toys, since we weren't expecting any kids around here. Anyways, would you like a tour of the place now that you've had some rest?"
Kat thought for a few moments and begrudgingly nodded. If she was going to be staying at this place, she wanted to know where everything was...
