Rofl, darling.
I have a character, a cowboy/cavalry soldier in WWI named Johnny Darling.
I haven't actually gotten to work on anything involving him yet, but something occurred to me.
It will be extremely entertaining to have him in the trenches, or wherever I end up sticking him.
Not because he's in the trenches, obviously. Exploding shells and horse guts flying about is not fun-timez.
But.
His very heterosexual commanders will be yelling orders with the name Darling upon their lips.
Like so:
"DARLING! DUCK AND COVER!"
Am I the only one amused by this?
