Okay, there's this story on Quizilla that I just found today called
"People Say Falling in Love is Easy. They Clearly Haven't Met the a** Next Door"
and there's this one part in the story when the main character, Skye, and her classmates in her English class are doing an assignment on Romeo and Juliet and they have to make an alternate ending, an ending where Romeo and Juliet don't die.
And then realization hit me!
I had to do the same thing for my English class in Freshman year! And in Freshman year, I didn't take Honors English so I was in plain ol English Class.
So Mr. Kinney told us that we had to create an alternate ending, something along the lines of "If you were to change the ending of Romeo and Juliet, what would you do?" or something and we had to work in partners.
So I paired up with a friend of mine who sat next to me, Leslie, and us, being the total Yaoi fan girls we are, decided to make Romeo and Paris GAY!!!!!
It was funny though!! Mr. Kinney KNOWS that we support gays so he asked us what we were doing and we told him that we made them gay! And he merely laughed, rolled his eyes, and said “Oh jeez”
It was awesome! I miss Mr. Kinney’s class!
