I'm the thing that hides in your closet at night, I'm the mysterious figure you feel is always watching you. I am everywhere and nowhere. Everything and nothing. I can twist time, and manipulate space, bend others to my will. And just when you think I'm gone, there I am, right behind you, waiting for my next opportunity to strike. By the time you realize, it's too late. I corner you, against the door, push you through, tightly lock it behind me. You scream for help, but no one is around to hear. I take this chance, and silence you, without you ever knowing who I truly am.

I leave you to the darkness, awaiting your awakening, I shut the door once more, but do not lock it. I pull the black-as-night cloak around me once more, the hood drooping down even further. I silently chuckle to myself, and disappear without a trace, ready for my next victim.

You awake in a daze, trying to collect your bearings. Was it all just a dream? You blink twice, still unsure of where you are. I leave you to navigate through the seemingly endless halls, until you waste away to nothing. The game is over. I have won.
