Shattering
the pieces fall
All around me
breaking the dreams
Held so close
and broken so easy
Grabbing at the shards
only to meet blood
Dripping down
my heart of ice
Trying to hard
such fragile pieces
Now it’s gone
irreversible
The pain
the heartache
Falling from me
the pieces disappear
Leaving only me
and the scars.
