I've missed a month of these. Er, two months, I guess. XD I'll get to that later. First i'll start now with August.

MCs 8/15/10
From the depths of your nocturnal terrors comes the Nitemare Crown, the strange headpiece worn by the dark monarch of the night. It seems to shift and change in your vision, transforming into different forms: a miniature crown, a horned circlet or a glowing headpiece.
When the sun god Apollus laughs, light dances across the skies like the winking suns on the Solar Sash--but when he cries, he hides his face in clouds, like the billowing cloth of the head wrap and shawl.

WTF. Each item only has four poses. I'm disappointed. I got solar and nitemare items and I'm disappointed. I should be happy. The poses aren't bad. And I wouldn't mind playing with them. I just don't... need them. Not when I only get four poses for 250c.


EIR 8/6 EIR 8/13
I still love EIs, I'm just too lazy to talk about each update individually. The pistolera has great colors and accessories so far. I like a lot of the accessories and poses from the Retreat, but a lot of the poses are also unusable with my personal preferences. Timmy is now biting off people's arms. He's up to the last thing I remember... now I don't know what he's going to do next~ The Forteanagoria is very interesting... I love the tattoos.




Summer Event 2010
We don't know too much yet. Well, I haven't scoured the GCD so I don't know their info. So far it's Airships. Our captains will be Sam, Diedrich, Louie and Carl the Elk.
Stickers appeared in the header on 8/12/10. You can collect one per day and they're soulbound. We're told we'll be able to trade them in for prizes during the event.

Coke has a sponsorship right now. The Coke belt was released during this event. Turns out, the winner stole his art from someone who posted a belt on DA about three years ago. The item-grant link was immediately removed and the existing belts soulbound.
The artist was okay with Gaia keeping the belt as long as they got royalties. Gaia felt it was more fair to pick a new winner from entries that were made specifically for the contest. The sword belt was changed to the g-rave belt on 8/17.
People are unhappy because the brown sword belt went better with their steampunk avatars. Oh well. The new one is nice too.
Oh yeah, the event hasn't started yet but the GCD is full of steampunks, airship captains and pirates in anticipation of the event.

Third Rapid EI: The Pistolera
Instead of evolving everyday, REIs now evolve every Tues and Fri. The reason being that evolving once a day doesn't give people a chance to enjoy the new poses. I agree. The items finished too quickly. It's better if they're drawn out a bit more. Too bad I still disagree with the amount of poses per item.
Pistolera was drawn by Milkbun. The other two were by Prlsm and Fayren Pickpocket. All REIs have been 499c so far because these were first-time EI artists. I don't expect REIs to remain in the 499c range in the future.

8/12/10 EI Bundle #5
This has to be my fav so far. Too bad I refuse to spend $20. Gogh reeds were ~1.5m before this bundle. They've dropped to about 1m and the newest gen is ~700k.
The Enchanted book was allllmost 300k. It's now about 200k with the newest gen at 100k.
Ara's Nestegg was ~260k. It's now about 170k with the newest gen going for about 70k.
The azuramella is currently about 450k. It's gorgeous. I love the colors they chose for the remake since they're very easy to use. Good accessories.
