Legend tells of a woman of untold beauty who roams the land appearing before travelers and criminals alike. She is a creature of vengeance, sent to right the wrongs committed by all mortals and aid those who are the victims. This woman is so feared that the humans who have survived her assaults and those who were witnessed them from the sidelines have come to call her Death Wish for the obvious end to every encounter. No evil doer is safe from her wrath. People who decide to commit crimes are now said to have a death wish because of their foolhardiness in challenging the woman who has become a goddess.

No one but she knows her real name, everyone simply refers to her as Death Wish and no one ever speaks to her directly. The survivors who remember her encounters describe her as a beautiful woman of average height with the litheness and grace of a cat, the speed of a snake, and the ferocity of a dragon. Indeed, they believe she can control the very fires of Hell itself and fear her great skill in martial arts. Mortals often recall being thrown off-guard upon first meeting her as she has brown eyes and wavy brown hair with lightly tanned skin. Most people think she is merely another normal woman until she speaks.

Death Wish is said to speak with the voice of demons and dresses like one in human form. Her clothing consists of red sheer pants, black tunic with silver line and cut-out feather designs, an under tunic of gradiated yellow and orange, and black slippers, and a yellow and orange necklace. The use of these demonic colors and deliberate style frighten those she meets.

It is also said that wherever Death Wish goes, Storm will follow. Until recently, mortals did not realize that Storm is the winged horse that travels with her. Storm adds to Death Wish's demonic appearance with one of his own. He has a coat, mane, and tail of the darkest obsidian and eyes that burn red. His wings are the same black as the rest of him, but his horn is a bright gold. This, however ferocious and hellish an appearance, is only his normal form. It is said that when Storm feels the righteous anger of his mistress his mane and tail will become the very fires of Hell itself and burn so brightly as to outshine the sun and blind those unfortunate enough to look directly at him.

Together this pair makes a fierce team feared throughout the land by both criminals and innocence alike. Children are told horror stories featuring Death Wish to get them to behave. Even despite the terror she causes, Death Wish still inspires creativity. Her entire being is shrouded in mystery mortals find intriguing. The tales of her exploits are passed by word of mouth and exaggerated each time, only adding to her mystique and infamy.

Still, some truth remains in the legends. A certain mountain and nearby forest are avoided by the general population smart enough to stay away. It is said to be the residence of Death Wish and her Storm and all those trespassing will pay the ultimate price. Only those who wish to challenge her travel through her realm and none ever return. Death Wish, though feared by most and challenged by some, is respected by all. Some have even come to worship her and have developed a cult-like following devoted to justice and her warring ways.
